Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who we are and scope

The melro.io website is run by Melro.io, an independent digital product studio based in Belmonte, Portugal. By using the site you accept these terms.

These terms apply only to the company website. Each Melro product has its own terms, which prevail when using that product.

2. Product information

We describe products that are available, in beta or in development. Features, status, availability and pricing may change without notice, and information on the site is not a binding offer.

Beta and in-development products may have bugs or downtime.

3. Waitlists

Joining a waitlist is free and creates no obligation for you or for us. We do not guarantee launch dates or access to beta programmes.

4. Custom projects

Custom project requests are only a first contact. Work starts only after a proposal is accepted in writing and is governed by the contract or proposal agreed between the parties.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site or the form to send spam, unlawful or offensive content, or to attempt unauthorised access to our systems.

6. Intellectual property

The text, trademarks, logos, images and code on this site belong to Melro.io or their respective owners. They may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written permission.

7. External links

The site links to third-party websites and to our products, which have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content.

8. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. We strive to keep information accurate and the site available, but do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law.

For consumer disputes, consumers may use an Alternative Dispute Resolution entity; the full list is available on the Portuguese Consumer Portal (www.consumidor.gov.pt). An electronic Complaints Book is also available (www.livroreclamacoes.pt).
